Meditation Retreats
These retreats are a special opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of Buddhist meditation. Through listening, contemplating and meditating on these retreats we can improve our concentration, strengthen our positive energy and achieve special feelings of clarity and tranquillity.
All retreats are led by Resident Teacher Adam Starr and are held in the peaceful environment of Duldzin Kadampa Buddhist Centre set in the tranquil setting of Sefton Park, Liverpool.
A Peaceful Life, Refuge Retreat
Sunday 25th - Tuesday 27th March 2012, with Resident Teacher Adam Starr, no charge
This meditation retreat, suitable for everyone, is an ideal opportunity to find some quiet space in the weekend and gain deeper experience of the profound benefits of Buddhist Meditation. The Sunday will consist of guided meditations and some brief commentary to the simple and profound practise of taking refuge in the Three Jewels: Buddha, Dharma & Sangha and the Monday and Tuesday will consist of unguided, silent meditation sessions . Through relying on the Three Jewels in our daily life we can all find freedom from our problems and sufferings and discover our limitless potential for inner peace, contentment and happiness.

Sunday 25th March (guided meditation sessions):
Session 1: 9am-10.30am
Session 2: 11.30am-12.45
Session 3: 2.30pm-3.45pm
Session 4: 4.30pm to 5.45pm
Monday and Tuesday 26th - 27th March (unguided meditation sessions):
Session 1: 9am to 10am
Session 2: 11.30am to 12.30
Session 3: 2.30pm to 3.30pm
