Day and Half-Day Courses
The following is a list of Meditation half day and day courses held at Duldzin centre, Sefton Park. These courses provide a special opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of the benefits of particular aspects of Meditation and the Buddhist way of life. The courses include inspiring and practical teachings, guided meditations, a delicious vegetarian lunch (or brunch for half day courses) and plenty of time to chat and relax. You can book online (see below) or reserve a place by post by sending a £5 deposit in advance to Duldzin Centre specifying your name and address and which course you are booking for.
Relaxation Retreat
Sunday 26th February, 10:00-13:00 with Kelsang Lamshe, course fee £12
The ideal peaceful Sunday morning getaway. Especially suitable for those new to meditation, the morning includes deeply relaxing guided meditations and simple advice on how to meditate.
Awakening our compassionate heart: The empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara
Saturday 10th March, 11:00-16:00 with Adam Starr, course fee £25
The empowerment is in essence a very peaceful guided meditation through which we receive inspiring blessings of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. The day will include teachings on the meditation practice of Avalokiteshvara. This brief and beautiful practice enables us to actualize our potential for enlightenment swiftly and can easily be integrated into our daily life.
