Chanted Meditations
The chanted meditations at the centre, known as ‘pujas’ help us to develop and maintain a positive mind, and are a powerful preparation for meditation. They are special methods for purifying negativity, accumulating merit and receiving inspiration

Everyone is welcome to attend all our chanted meditation sessions which are as follows:-
Daily Chanted Meditations
Heart Jewel (with Lamrim meditation) - Mon to Sun (except Tue) - 5pm to 6pm
Weekly Chanted Meditations
Prayers for World Peace (Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog) - Tue 4pm to 5pm
Monthly Chanted Meditations
Offering to the Spiritual Guide - 10th and 25th of each month
Melodius Drum - 29th of each month
For all chanted meditations please check our calendar on the home page to confirm times and dates, as these may change from time to time. An explanation of each of the chanted meditations at the centre are as follows:-
Heart Jewel -
A Guru yoga practice of Je Tsongkhapa combined with meditation on the path to enlightenment (Lamrim) and prayers to the Dharma Protector.
Prayers for World Peace (Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog) -
This is very similar to Heart Jewel but includes more extensive prayers to the Dharma Protector and also includes a Tsog offering (see below).
Melodious Drum (with Tsog) -
A Guru yoga practice of Je Tsongkhapa combined with extensive prayes to the Dharma proctector Dorje Shugden.
Dakini Yoga -
A Guru Yoga practice combined with brief meditations specially arranged for those who have received a Vajrayogini Empowerment.
Offering to the Spiritual Guide (with Tsog) -
A special Guru yoga of Je Tsongkhapa that is related to Highest Yoga Tantra, and forms a preliminary practice for Vajrayana Mahamudra.
What is a Tsog puja?
Tsog offering pujas are ceremonies that involve making offerings to the Buddhas in conjunction with prayers and meditation. They are an excellent method for accumulating merit, purifying negativity and receiving blessings.
