Day course and review of the Summer Festival 2009

with Gen Lhamo

Followed by a NKT Post Summer Festival Retreat guided by Gen Lhamo.

At the NKT International Summer Festival, Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso gave teachings on Kadam Lamrim and Highest Yoga Tantra, granting the empowerments of Dorje Shugden, Buddha Heruka and Venerable Vajrayogini. Following this event, Gen Lhamo will guide us in meditation to deepen our heart connection with these deities so that we can continuously receive their transformative blessings.

Dorje Shugden is a Dharma Protector, our supreme spiritual friend who arranges all the necessary conditions that we need to complete the path to enlightenment. The Highest Yoga Tantra practices of Heruka and Vajrayogini include special methods to purify our body and mind, and to transform or ordinary world and experiences into the blissful pure world and experiences of an enlightened being.

To attend this post-Festival retreat, you need not have attended the Summer Festival, however you must have previously received the empowerments of Heruka and Vajrayogini.

Retreat from Sunday, August 30th - Friday, September 4th


9 am - 10.30 am Session 1

Facility Fees


£25 for the day course alone including a two course vegetarian lunch and refeshments.

£90 for the day course and whole retreat including all meals and dormitory accommodation. £80 for FP and TTP students (please book at least 48 hours beforehand). Single room £120 (£110 for FP and TTP students), limited availability.

£15 per 24 hours of retreat including one night and three meals (please book at least 48 hours beforehand). (£12 for FP and TTP students)

£8 per day for the retreat or £2.50 per session. Unfortunately we cannot provide meals without accommodation.

Day course and retreat free for all Foundation and Teacher Training Programme students (except for meals and accommodation). A £5 pound charge will be required for lunch on these days.
