World Peace Café Liverpool
What is a World Peace Café?
The New Kadampa Tradition has World Peace Cafés in many places around the world, now it's time for Liverpool to open its very own café.
The café will be run by volunteers, with the funds raised being used to support Duldzin Centre's activities in flourishing Buddha's teachings throughout Liverpool and Merseyside. The café will also be benefiting people around the world through Duldzin Centre making a monthly donation to the International Temples Project for world peace.
When Does it Open?
The café is scheduled to open February 2010
The café will also be a great opportunity for people to make a connection with Duldzin Centre. As well as coming for a coffee, people will have the opportunity to browse our Buddhist gift shop, use the meditation rooms (when available), find out about meditation classes and courses, and meet Buddhist practitioners at the Centre.
To gain spiritual realizations we need to study and meditate, but it is also important work in a practical way to benefit others. The café will be part of Duldzin Centre's service to the community. It will also give people a great opportunity to cherish the local community thereby creating the causes to gradually gain spiritual realizations.

Ways for you to help
There are many opportunities to get involved with the café such as: serving (training will be provided), baking cakes and savouries, helping with publicity, making a donation, sharing ideas on how we can improve and bringing your friends over for a coffee!
