Fact Finding Mission to Nagarjuna Centre's World Peace Cafe

The cafe project begins! Our goal is to transform Duldzin Centre's lounge into Liverpool's first World Peace Cafe.
The plan for the cafe is in 2 phases 1st to prepare the cafe over the next few months in order to open for the students who attend Duldzin Centre's study programmes, and then a few months later to open to the general public.
Initially we will sand and polish the floor, add more lights to the ceiling and create the plumbing for a sink and the coffee machine, which will then be purchased.
The downstairs washroom will be rebuilt to include a disabled toilet. The steps leading to the cafe will be improved and signs and sandwich boards will be created, together with publicity for the cafe.

At the same time we will be engaging in various activities to raise funds for the project.
We hope to be open for the students before Christmas and open to the general public early in the new year. Watch this space!
