Our Centre
Duldzin Kadampa Buddhist Centre was founded in the late 1990's by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso with the wish to
benefit the people of Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area by providing the conditions for the people of this
region to find inner peace though the practice of Buddha's teachings and meditation.
Situated in Sefton Park, the Centre has a warm and friendly atmosphere with both lay and ordained Buddhist practitioners
living at the Centre as a sangha community. Over the years, the extended community has grown significantly and to many
in the local area, it is now a second home. Everyone is welcome to visit throughout the week for the various classes and
meditations we offer.
By practising Buddha's teachings, or Dharma, we can protect ourself from suffering and problems and improve the quality of our human
life. This is because the quality of our life depends upon the inner development of peace and happiness, not upon external material development.
Duldzin Centre follows centuries of teachings in the pure tradition of Je Tsongkhapa. The purpose of the Centre is to promote inner and outer
peace through the practice of these teachings... and through following the example of sincere Kadampa practitioners transforming their lives through
dedicated service to others.
Duldzin Centre is a registered charity open to everybody. All are welcome to visit the Centre and experience the peaceful environment
of the meditation room and world peace cafe.
We look forward to seeing you!
